RCP
(Rhinotracheitis/Calicivirus/Panleukopenia/Chlamydia) RCP vaccine covers the viruses and bacteria responsible for upper respiratory and gastrointestinal infections. RCP vaccines should be started at 6-8 weeks of age (See Kitten Vaccination Schedule) and are recommended annually.

Rabies
This vaccine protects against the rabies virus which attacks the central nervous system and is fatal. Rabies can be transmitted to humans. The initial rabies vaccine should be given at 16 weeks of age. The first rabies vaccine is effective for one year and all subsequent vaccines are effective for three years. A rabies vaccine is mandatory to liscense your dog.

FeLV
FeLV is a form of cancer found in cats that is highly contagious to other cats. FeLV testing is recommended prior to vaccinating. We strongly recommend FeLV test for all outdoor cats and new kittens.

Fecal Exam
Checks for round, hook, and whip worms. Recommended annually for indoor pets and every six months for outdoor pets.

Deworming
We recommend a deworming at your pet's first visit and at least once after. Drontal and Strongid are acceptable medications. Start litters at three to four weeks if possible.
